Dr. Deepika Sundararaj graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2012 with a degree in Biology and Political Science as a Buckley Public Service School. In 2016, she graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency at UMass Chan - Baystate Medical Center in 2020 followed by fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry from Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2021 before returning to Baystate as faculty. She was the medical student clerkship director for the PURCH track at UMass Chan Medical School. She is currently the associate program director for both the general psychiatry residency program and the consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship program at Baystate Medical Center.
