Nafisa Reza, MD is the Assistant Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital in NYC and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the NYU Langone Department of Psychiatry. She completed an accelerated B.S/M.D. program through Northeast Ohio Medical University. In her residency at Zucker Hillside Hospital in NY, she focused on OCD and published in perinatal psychiatry; she was also chief resident. She is board certified in Adult and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, having completed her fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine in California. Currently she also is the unit chief of one of the major inpatient psychiatry teaching units for NYU trainees, and her clinical care is informed by her CL experience. She is passionate about medical education, psychosis, the care and formulation of marginalized patients, and perinatal psychiatry.
