Kalyn Holmes graduate with her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is currently a psychology postdoctoral fellow at Denver Health serving in the Pediatric emergency department and Family Oriented Resilience, Growth, and Empowerment program. Her clinical interest is in providing evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health care to youth and families from under served communities. Her research focuses primarily on system and institution factors that predict youth and family treatment engagement and outcomes. She is also an active advocate for improving access to quality mental health support for all youth and families, and she provides advocacy and policy training to medical and mental health staff at Denver Health.
