Dr. Kuntz received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a concentration in health psychology from The Ohio State University. She completed an internship in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Florida’s Health Science Center and a fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.
Dr. Kuntz is currently a clinical associate professor of psychiatry and the Director of Transplant Psychology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her clinical interests include transplant psychosocial assessment, psychological adjustment to life post-transplant, and health behavior change. Her research activities involve assessing psychological distress and quality of life in transplant patients and living kidney donors. She is a fellow of the American Society of Transplantation (AST) and former chair of the AST’s Psychosocial and Ethics Community of Practice.
