Brenna received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with focuses in biomechanics and global health from Northwestern University. On graduation she worked as a biomedical engineer in the Department of Defense at Walter Reed National Medical Center performing clinical research on post-TBI psychiatric illness in military service members. She received her M.D. from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Brenna completed her residency in psychiatry at George Washington University in 2020 and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at George Washington University/Inova Fairfax in 2021. Brenna currently works as a clinical assisistant professor working in psycho-oncology at the University of Washington at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
