Dr. Jacqueline Posada is a consultation liaison (CL) trained psychiatrist and assistant professor at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in the department of psychiatry. Clinically she spends her time as an inpatient and outpatient CL psychiatrist taking care of individuals who experience both medical and psychiatric illness helping them cope with the profound effect these conditions have on their lives. Her outpatient work currently focuses on post acute sequelae of covid-19 (PASC) and neurological conditions. Her other professional interests include mindfulness interventions including mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), specialty care of Latinx and Spanish speaking populations, mental health equity, and expanding mental health resources throughout the state of Texas.
