Ana Ivkovic is a staff psychiatrist on the Avery D. Weisman Psychiatry Consultation Service at Massachusetts General Hospital where she co-directs the transplant psychiatry service. Her academic interests center on the intersection of physical and mental health and how best to optimize whole-body health using integrative medicine approaches alongside more conventional treatment. She is a co-founder of the Massachusetts General Hospital LIFT (Long Term Individualized Follow-up after Transplant) Clinic, where she uses a preventive health approach to optimize brain, liver, and whole-body health after liver transplantation. She has co-authored numerous articles and book chapters in the field of psychiatry and has co-authored the Science of Stress (2016). She co-founded and co-chairs the Integrative Medicine Special Interest Group and is a Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) certified provider through Harvard’s Benson Henry Institute.
