Dr. Uruj Kamal Haider is a board certified psychiatrist and highly values her clinical work treating perinatal individuals in wide demographics across the state of MA via telemedicine. She is skilled in the management of complex patients with special interests in Postpartum Psychosis, OCD and sleep issues postpartum. In her clinical work as a CL perinatal psychiatrist, she leads the Community for Women’s Care Clinic, Women’s Mental Health Clinic and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Clinics at U Mass Chan Medical School/UMass Memorial. Secondly, as Medical Director of Consultative Services for MCPAP for Moms and Medical Director of Women's Mental Health Clinical Services in the Department of Psychiatry, she helps lead expert clinical guidance on complex psychopharmacological management and how to educate obstetric and health care providers across the state. Lastly, as a clinician educator and Women’s Mental Health clerkship director, she also teaches medical students and psychiatry residents about Women’s Mental Health best practice prescribing guidelines. She has won numerous awards in teaching psychiatry to trainees and has given over 50 presentations in her time as a junior attending. She is also a consulting perinatal psychiatrist for Lifeline for Families.
