Sarah began her work in nursing in 2003 as an LPN in the Intensive Care Unit at Akron City Hospital, she moved on to complete her ADN from Stark State and continued working in the ICU until she completed her bachelors of nursing at Kent State University. After completing her BSN, she had gained 15 years of critical care experience and decided to pursue additional training and education to transition to psychiatry as a nurse practitioner. She completed her MSN at Kent State and completed 2.5 years of additional training in Consult Liaison Psychiatry at Cleveland Clinic before beginning her work at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital as a CL PMHNP. Sarah returned to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus where she led the Consult Liaison Behavioral Health Emergency Response Team. She recently transitioned to Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital Consult Liaison Psychiatry service in 2023 and has dedicated her time to providing high quality patient care, improving multidisciplinary team engagement and decreasing workplace violence.
