Dr. Elizabeth Hale is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her MD from the University of Toledo College of Medicine before completing Psychiatry residency and Consult-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Western Psychiatric Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Unviersity of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. In her clinical roles, she works as the psychiatrist as part of an interdisciplinary team on the inpatient Palliative Care service at UPMC, and is also part of Psycho-Oncology clinic. She is active in medical education and has academic interests in psycho-oncology, palliative care psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry.
