Dr. Sadlonova is Attending Physician at the University Göttingen Medical Center and Research Consultant at Massachusetts General Hospital (Cardiac Psychiatry Research Program). She was a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School between April 2021 and September 2022. Dr. Sadlonova graduated from the fellowship program in psychosomatic consultation-liaison service (´Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy´) at the University of Göttingen Medical Centre in Germany in 2020, where she served as staff physician in psychosomatic consultation-liaison service in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (I. Kutschka, M.D.). She obtained training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Lou-Andreas-Salomé Institute in Göttingen, Germany. Furthermore, she is currently a principal investigator or co-principal investigator of several multicenter intervention trials or observational studies in the area of cardiovascular research (prehabilitation in cardiac patients, collaborative care in patients with CHD, delirium in context of cardiac surgery). Her clinical and research interests fall within the areas of psychosomatic medicine/consultation-liaison psychiatry with special interests in psychiatric symptoms, psychological interventions, and delirium prevention arising in the context of cardiac surgery and cardiology.
