Dr. Mirza Mohammad Omar Baig is a psychiatry resident in Boston, Massachusetts at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. He earned his M.D. at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Baig’s interests include consultation-liaison psychiatry and clinical education. During residency thus far, Dr. Baig has co-written chapters that will be featured in upcoming editions of Massachusetts General Hospital Handbook of General Hospital Psychiatry and Massachusetts General Hospital Comprehensive Clinical Psychiatry, two textbooks utilized by psychiatry trainees nationwide. Dr. Baig serves as a preceptor for medical students during their core rotations and sub-internships on the inpatient psychiatry service and the consultation-liaison psychiatry service. He will be the chief resident of the CL service at Massachusetts General Hospital in the 2024-2025 academic year.
