Juliana Zambrano is a 4th year resident at the Mass General Hospital/ McLean Hospital Psychiatry Residency Program and is part of the Physician Scientist Training Program. She is originally from Colombia and grew up between there and the United States. Dr. Zambrano attended medical school at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. She then completed a Master’s in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiac psychiatry at Mass General Hospital. Her interests include Consultation-Liaison, Hispanic psychiatry, and psychedelics. Her research is focused on implementation science of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies for psychosomatic disorders and marginalized populations in the U.S. and abroad. She is a 2023-2024 SAMHSA Minority Fellow at the American Psychiatric Association and a Laughlin Fellow of the American College of Psychiatry.
