Emily E. Moin, MD, MBE is a fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She attended medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she concurrently earned a Masters of Bioethics with the support of the Samuel Bellett Scholarship for dual MD/MBE study, completing an original thesis entitled “Jailers at the Bedside: Ethical Conflicts in Provision of Community Hospital Care for Incarcerated Individuals.” She completed residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Moin is currently a first-year student in the Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology program at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include the application of quantitative methods to advancing understanding of ethical issues in critical care medicine.
