Michelle Riba, MD is a Past President of the APA, AAP, and AADPRT. She is co-director of the University of Michigan Workplace Mental Health Solutions, Eisenberg Family Depression Center. She is Director of the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center PsychOncology Program. Dr. Riba chairs the NCCN Distress Guidelines Panel and is a member of the NCCN Fatigue Guidelines Panel. She is Editor-in-Chief of Current Psychiatry Reports and is Deputy Editor Emeritus of Psychiatric Times. She has served on the Executive Council of the WPA as Secretary of Scientific Publications. She has edited or written over 40 books and been an author of over 200 scientific publications. Her area of research interest is distress in cancer and cancer and serious mental illness.
