My clinical background is in Rehabilitation Psychiatry, including treating patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, amputation, solid organ transplantation, and functional disorders. I also work with the LGBTQ+ population in my clinical practice and assisting patients seeking gender-affirming care. I continue to teach residents didactics in psychopharmacology, traumatic disorders, and consultation-liaison-related topics. I am interested in the use of simulation for high stakes scenarios in clinical practice and have developed multiple simulations to train residents in working with agitated patients.
