Jeffrey Zabinski, MD, MSW, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he serves as the Assistant Director of Interventional Psychiatry and leads the ketamine and esketamine program. He specializes in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for patients with difficult-to-treat and medically complex psychiatric conditions within an outpatient consultation-liaison model. Dr. Zabinski's expertise includes interventional psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, bioethics, and medical educaton.
Dr. Zabinski completed his adult psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins University, followed by a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at NYU. He also served as the liaison to neurology and the neuro-ICU at Columbia for several years before taking on his current role, and is a former ACLP Webb Fellow. He remains an active member and Vice Chair of the ACLP Medical Student Education Subcommittee. At Columbia, he directs a popular medical student elective and is an educator and mentee across all training levels and is always excited to connect!
