Currently the Director of the Magnet Program & Nursing Quality at Phelps Hospital, part of Northwell Health, Nita has over 10 years experience in Quality. She started her career as a Surgical ICU nurse in Los Angeles, then worked in San Diego before finally settling in NYC. Nita received a degree in Organizational Psychology and completed the Clinical Quality Fellowship Program with Greater New York Hospital Association/United Health Fund. She also has a certificate in Bioethics from Albert Einstein and is the co-chair of the Ethics Committee at Phelps.
