Chris J. Plescia, MD is a consult liaison (CL) attending and general adult psychiatrist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed his CL fellowship in 2020 at UPMC. He completed his psychiatry residency at Northwell Health Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York in 2019. Chris earned his medical degree from FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, FL after graduating with a BS in Biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. His professional interests include integrated/collaborative care, resident and fellow mental health, and applying psychodynamic principles within both CL and outpatient settings.
