Christiana Weidanz has over 10 years of experience in the field of Social Work working with a wide range of populations. After graduating from Monmouth University with her MSW in 2013 she started as a case manager at a local non-profit in San Mateo County that serves community with safety net services including assistance with housing, food, clothing and medical support. As she grew in her career she had the opportunity to be a part of a team that implemented the HUD mandate to create a Coordinated Entry System for individuals and families to have a more streamlined entry to homeless services in their community. In her role managing the Coordinated Entry System in San Mateo County she used her platform to effect change and advocate for those living with mental illness to have more opportunity to appropriate housing placements and support services. Her passion is in helping those who are often overlooked in the system. She has a particular interest in how systems intersect and works to ensure that individuals are able to get the support they need to move forward. She is currently serving as a Behavorial Health Clinician at Stanford Primary Care where she has the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary team in bringing short term therapeutic support to clinic patients.
