Sharon Madanes is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is a recent graduate of the Women's Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University and obtained a masters in fine art in painting and printmaking at Hunter College before studying medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her psychiatry residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Her interests include reproductive and women's mental health, PTSD and trauma, LGBTQIA+ care, and the intersection between art and medicine.
