New York, New York
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Population Health at New York University Langone Medical Center. I am a practicing addiction psychiatrist on the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service at NYU Langone Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion. I am a member of the New York Node in the NIDA Clinical Trials Network, and a recent graduate of the NIDA-funded T32 Substance Use Disorder postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia. I am an appointed member of the New York City Evidence-Based Benefit Review Advisory Committee (EBBRAC) that reviews evidence-based interventions, including for substance use disorders. I serve as a per diem consultant and develop educational and implementation materials for substance use disorders. My main research interest is improving uptake and delivery of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in community treatment settings through the study of implementation strategies and economic evaluation.
