Dr. Margaret R. Puelle received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan and did her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Puelle completed her Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester in 2023 and subsequently joined their faculty as a Senior Instructor. Her outpatient practice consists of an embedded clinic in the dermatology department where she sees patients in a dual clinic model with a dermatologist and has a continuity practice for patients with dermatologic conditions and complex psychiatric needs. She also works on the inpatient consultation service supervising fellows, residents, and medical students, and supervises residents in psychotherapy training. She is the Associate Clerkship Director for the Department of Psychiatry and advises medical students applying for psychiatry residency. Her research current research projects focus on the treatment of patients with psychodermatologic conditions.
