Priya Gearin, originally from Peoria, IL, attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. After completing residency and fellowship on the East Coast, she returned to UNMC and is currently working as an outpatient psychiatrist with children, adolescents, and young adults. She enjoys integrating therapy into her outpatient work including family work. Her special clinical interests include anxiety disorders, OCD, and psychosis. In her free time, she likes to run, be outdoors, and spend time with her family.
