Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Fellow
Johns Hopkins Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
Baltimore, Maryland
Originally from California, I moved to Baltimore to pursue medical training at Johns Hopkins. During my time as a medical student, I became passionate about the intersection between psychiatry and medical and surgical conditions. This inspired me to continue on with my training as a psychiatry resident at Johns Hopkins, and then as a fellow in CL psychiatry. I have an interest in education as well, and while in residency worked with Dr. Durga Roy at Johns Hopkins to conduct a scoping review to identify gaps in training that exist for medical providers in particular in the general hospital setting. I have continued on with the same team and have been working to develop an online curriculum designed to help teach hospitalist about the management of agitation in patients with complex neurobehavioral syndromes.
