Millicent King Channell, DO, MA, FAAO, FNAOME, is a graduate of PCOM with board certifications in Family Medicine/OMT and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM). With a rich academic background, she has held various roles, including Residency Director and Department Chair for OMM. Actively contributing to the Osteopathic profession, she has served on ACGME's Osteopathic Recognition Committee and NBOME's Board of Directors, and is the co-author of "The 5-Minute Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Consult". Dr. Channell completed leadership fellowships at both Drexel University's ELAM Program, and Midwestern University's Costin Institute and is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO). Additionally, Dr. Channell has been appointed to the US Department of Education's National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA). Currently, she serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Services, and Professor of OMM and Family Medicine at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan-Virtua SOM) in Southern New Jersey.
