Dr. Anique Forrester is a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She also serves as the CL Psychiatry Fellowship Training Director and the Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Psychiatry. She completed medical school at the Howard University College of Medicine and her general psychiatry and CL fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
As Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Forrester provides strategic vision and leadership for all of the department’s diversity and inclusion activities and oversees the development and implementation of key goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, she represents the Department of Psychiatry in the larger University of Maryland School of Medicine DEI leadership.
