Kiana Dash is a rising 4th year medical student at Ohio State University College of Medicine who demonstrates immense dedication to advancing the field of neuropsychiatry. With over five years of experience as a research assistant at the National Institutes of Mental Health and Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, Kiana has focused on improving clinical care care guidelines and new neurobiological discoveries. More recently, she has championed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts within the College of Medicine geared towards shifting the focus on minority mental health challenges to better improve student outcomes. Additionally, Kiana has been featured on several panel discussions and has found a great purpose in encouraging the next generation of leaders in medicine.
