Dr. Abbasi is a consultation liaison psychiatrist and program director for the psychiatry residency training program at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida (est. 2019). Memorial Healthcare system is one of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation and psychiatry residents are trained at the flagship hospital, Memorial Regional Hospital, which provides tertiary level care to the Broward County community. Dr. Abbasi completed his residency at Creighton University - University of Nebraska Heatlh Alliance and completed fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of interest include epilepsy and bariatric surgery.
