Dr. Davis Fleming is a second-year child and adolescent psychiatry fellow who is originally from Little Rock, AR. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR after which completed his general adult psychiatry residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. His clinical interests include eating disorders and substance use treatment, psychoanalytic treatment, and addressing health equity and continued disparities in psychiatry. Some of his research interests include the role of play-based group interventions and other group treatment settings to improve school-readiness in children. He is concurrently enrolled in additional psychodynamic psychotherapy training at the Denver Psychoanalytic Institute following his fellowship. Following fellowship, he plans to undergo adult and child psychoanalytic training in addition to his current clinical pursuits. In his spare time, he enjoys trail running, studying piano and voice at Denver's Lamont School of Music, and playing chamber music for the Colorado Chamber Music Society.
