Michaelyn Everhart completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, then went on to do her general psychiatry residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Throughout her training, she has focused on mental health advocacy on the state level, as well as advocacy for LGBT+ and gender affirming healthcare. Dr. Everhart has career interests in crisis intervention and emergency psychiatry.
