Co-Director Transplant Psychiatry
Mass General Hospital
I am a psychiatrist who evaluates and treats patients with co-morbid psychiatric and medical/surgical illness. After completing my training in psychiatry at the MGH and McLean Hospital, in connection with Harvard Medical School (HMS) and my subspecialty training in consultation-liaison (C-L) psychiatry at MGH, I joined the faculty at MGH and HMS. My clinical roles include: providing supervision of residents and oversight of psychiatric care for a panel of patients with serious mental illness at Freedom Trail Clinic a cornerstone of the community training for MGH psychiatry residents. I also provide direct clinical care consultation and supervision of trainees in consultation for the C-L service at MGH with a focused role on providing specialty consultation for the heart and lung transplant programs.
