Olivia Dahl is an Argentine-American Dartmouth graduate. In college, she discovered her passion for neuroscience and linguistics, and she graduated with honors in the neuroscience major. From there, she completed a post-bacc at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her MD from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she founded the Human Rights Initiative, organized the interpreter training program at the student-run free clinic, and was inducted into the gold humanism society. Olivia sees healthcare through a global lens and envisions a world in which human rights transcend borders. Finishing up her psychiatry residency at University Hospitals, she is designing curriculum to reframe patients as experts on mental illness-- in creating this humanities thread, she will finish residency with a distinction in leadership in medical education. Olivia is passionate about academic medicine, CL psychiatry, interventional psychiatry, narrative medicine, and psychotherapy.
Olivia's extra-professional interests include: reading (especially memoirs and poetry), painting, and enjoying the outdoors.
