Medical Student
Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine
A fourth year medical student, Minal Reddy, has a commitment to service and mentorship as embodied by her various extracurricular activities and leadership roles. In 2020, Ms. Reddy graduated from University of California, Los Angeles as Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Human Biology and Society. During her undergraduate years, she served a mentor for unprivileged children in her community via the Big Brothers Big Sisters program as well as School on Wheels where she was pivotal in the initiation of a online pilot program to provide educationally stimulating activities for children located in rural environments. Throughout medical school, she has upheld her dedication to service and education through her involvement with her school’s peer tutoring program through which she guides fellow students through the academic and personal rigors of medical school. She also advocates for the psychosocial wellbeing of patients with dermatologic conditions by leading various support groups as well as creating digital content for journals and lifestyle guides. Looking ahead to her future career, Ms. Reddy hopes to incorporate multidisciplinary treatment modalities to best support those in need.
