Dr. Leo is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine where he serves as the Director of the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service at the Erie County Medical Center. Dr. Leo has received board certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with subspecialty board certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, the American Board of Preventive Medicine (in Addiction Medicine), and the American Board of Anesthesiology (Pain Medicine). He is a Fellow of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Leo is the author of three books on Pain Management, emphasizing the interplay of pain and psychiatric treatment and over 70 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He serves as the primary psychiatric consultant at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.
