Nathan Praschan obtained his medical degree in year at Georgetown University and completed a psychiatry residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital in 2021. He completed a consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2022, and a fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at MGH in 2023. He joined the faculty at BWH in September 2023 on the neuropsychiatry and consultation-liaison services. He is the assistant co-director for the BWH Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship. His clinical, research, and educational interests include catatonia and movement disorders, cognitive impairment and neurodegenerative diseases, functional neurological disorders, and interventional psychiatry (including ketamine).
