Kevin Lam is a PGY-1 at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and also University of California San Diego with a B.S. in management science. He has been involved in both basic science and clinical research since his undergraduate years. Most recently, Kevin collaborated with researchers at UCSF and UC Berkeley to analyze the feasibility and readiness of bringing psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies to low- and middle-income countries. Beyond his research endeavors, Kevin also spent time leading and giving back to his community. He was the chapter president of his school’s AMA, the president of a student-run free health clinic, and also helped to lay the groundwork for global health and mental health initiatives at his school and in his community.
