A third-year medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Hannah R. Hubbard, is committed to holistic healthcare and community service. Graduating in 2021 from Tulane University, Ms. Hubbard earned a BS in Psychology and Neuroscience. Throughout her undergraduate years, she exemplified her dedication to aiding her community by engaging in various service organizations, such as the Tulane University Service Dog Training and Education Program, TUSTEP. She not only served as President of TUSTEP but also as a Puppy Raiser for Canine Companions, a national nonprofit supporting the training of service dogs for those in need.
Currently pursuing her MPH alongside her medical degree, Ms. Hubbard is passionate about understanding public health systems and addressing health disparities. Her involvement as Secretary of the Street Medicine Interest Group underscores her commitment to serving underserved communities and bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility.
Beyond academia, she volunteers at Better Community Development, extending support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. In addition, she actively promotes mental health awareness and advocates for the well-being of her peers through her position as a Student Wellness Advocate.
