I currently serve as the Medical Director of a youth urgent-access clinic--the Community Behavioral Health Clinic at Boston Medical Center. I have a leadership role in the Boston Emergency Services Teams which provides emergency assessment and connection to treatment in community settings, urgent care setting, criminal justice settings and emergency departments. I co-lead the pediatric psychiatric consult-liaison service at Boston Medical Center. I am an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine where I teach medical students and residents. I have been the primary investigator or supervising investigator on both qualitative and quantitative studies in the emergency department and outpatient pediatric psychiatry clinics. I lead a robust lab of diverse, multilingual, undergraduate, graduate and faculty researchers
