In addition to his role as an attending psychiatrist on the Consultation-Liaison Service at Grady Memorial Hospital, Dr. Thylur is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Emory University School of Medicine and serves as a clinical site liaison for the residency program. He is passionate about improving medical education by using active learning methods and near-peer teaching to enhance learner engagement. His clinical interests include catatonia, severe mental illness, and health equity. His research area focuses on the role adaptive immunity plays in the pathogenesis of severe mental illness.
