Shelby Adler is a current third year resident at University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine’s Psychiatry Residency Program who graduated from the University of Wisconsin in psychology with honors and then completed her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Shelby is a member of the gold humanism honor society. Her previous research focused on reducing disparities in healthcare through Albert Einstein’s Center for Health Equity, receiving a distinction in research for her work on structural racism and recognizing the unseen frontline service workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her current interests in the field of psychiatry include consultation liaison, palliative care, addiction medicine, and trauma-based care.
