Melissa is a current third-year medical student at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Thus far, she has completed several research projects discussing medical student mental health and well-being and she serves as the director for one of the primary clinics within the Equal Access Clinic Network, the largest student-run free clinics in the nation. Her goal is to pursue a residency in psychiatry with particular interests in emergency and addiction psychiatry.
