Myself Shiana Sekhri, an international medical graduate from North India. I completed my MBBS from AIMSR, Bathinda, India. I obtained significant experience in Psychiatry by doing various Externships in US. I moved to US in 2019 to advance my career in Psychiatry. Graduated in 2023 from Nassau University Medical Center, NY. I served as a Chief Resident for Administrative and Outpatient Psychiatry during my last year of Residency. Received my ABPN board certification in 2023. Currently a C & L Psychiatry Fellow at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY. My goal is to create awareness about mental health especially in the South Asian community. My interests are Psycho-Oncology, Catatonia and Psychosis.
