Dr. Amanda Pomerantz obtained her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine - Seton Hill in 2019. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Cleveland Clinic in 2023, where she served as the outpatient chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2024. She currently is a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, where she does a mix of general consultation work and transplant psychiatry. Her clinical interests include transplant and critical care psychiatry, as well as medical education.
