Dr. Mohit Chauhan is a Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist and an Assistant Professor in the Dept. Of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic Florida. His clinical and research work has focused on identifying and treating mood and anxiety disorders and improving wellness at population level. He had a significant role in the adoption and execution of integrated team-based care in the Mayo Clinic Health System and Mayo Clinic Florida. The model, referred to as Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), was widely adopted in the health system under the aegis of a CMS-funded project. He has also made significant contributions to Individualized Medicine Bio Bank for Bipolar Disorders, in the process, co-authoring several publications and presenting my research findings at international meetings. At Mayo Clinic Florida, his research focus has been on collaborative projects improving wellness and addressing challenges of treating patients with depression and anxiety non-mental health specialty settings. He is co-investigator in a project validating augmented human intelligence project, which will provide primary care physicians and psychiatrists an intuitive interface to predict treatment outcomes for depression in real-time. He is also a co-investigator for NSF funded artificial intelligence project for prediction of burnout in nurses using wearable device data.
