Dr. Nia Harris attended Amherst College where she graduated cum laude with honors. She received her medical degree from The University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed residency training in psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine where she served as a chief resident. Dr. Harris is currently completing a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Harris has written and published on a variety of topics in neurology, behavioral neuroscience, cultural psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry.
