Dr. Dahal is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and an attending psychiatrist at Yale- New Haven Hospital. With fellowship trainings in Consultation-Liaison and Geriatric Psychiatry, he provides unique expertise clinical care to patients with high medical complexity and acuity, who often present as diagnostic dilemmas or with behavioral challenges. He is an embedded psychiatrist at the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic where he practices collaborative care with pulmonologists. He supervises and educates trainees across the spectrum of medical students to psychiatry fellows. Dr. Dahal is active in mental health education and research in his home country of Nepal.
