Janna Gordon-Elliott, MD, FACLP, FAPA, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian. Dr. Gordon-Elliott is currently a lead psychiatrist in a program to advance stepped, integrated models of behavioral healthcare within primary care services. She is a former Chief of the Psychiatric Consultation-Liaison Service. She has served as the psychiatric consultant for the NYP Kidney and Pancreas, the Liver Disease and Transplantation Program, and the Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation Programs. She has been active as a teacher and supervisor of trainees, including medical students, physician assistant students, residents and fellows. She previously served as the WCM Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Student life, the Psychiatry Clerkship Director and Director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry, and the Site Program Director for the C-L Psychiatry Fellowship of Memorial Sloan Kettering and NYP. With the support of an education award, she has developed a resilience-training program for medical students. She has published in areas of medical psychiatry, eating disorders, and psychiatric training and education. She has additional interests in sports psychiatry, and career vitality.
