Psychology Post-doctoral Fellow

Katie Catanzarite completed her doctorate of clinical psychology in 2023 from Xavier University. Her previous research and dissertation focused on exploring ruptures and subsequent repair of the therapeutic alliance. She is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans, with a focus in health psychology. Her rotations include the inpatient adult psychiatric units, the infectious disease clinic and the women’s clinic where she primarily works with women during the perinatal period. Katie also co-facilitates group supervision for the current psychology interns, and individual supervision for psychiatry residents who are beginning therapy with patients. Following post-doc, Katie hopes to continue her work with the perinatal population, as well as continue to participate in training and supervising students and interns.
