Payton Lea is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. He completed medical school and residency training at UAMS and a consultation-liaison fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He works closely with the solid organ transplant programs at UAMS, providing inpatient consultations, pre-transplant psychosocial evaluations, and outpatient post-transplant psychiatric care.
